Just realised I got myself into relatively deep shit. Promised my friends I'd go for SDE Bash at Gotham Penthouse next Friday but I realised I have nothing appropriate to wear! WTF.
Does that mean I have to go buy clothes?! What is the correct attire for clubs anyway?!

This CNY, I have to urge to climb up very high on the social ladder. One of my uncles holds a very high position in the army, and is Chief Executive of a governmental organisation. And the CNY card he gives out are personalised! It has his name and position printed on the card!
It really signifies how far he has come. We all start out on an almost level playing field and some people just get so far ahead of the rest! Some people just go on to do the greatest things and achieve great feats while the rest look up from the bottom rung.
I want to be someone great too. But am I willing to work that hard in order to achieve so much? Like I put at the right hand side column: I wish for a lot of things. But I cannot be bothered to work for them. Where will I find the motivation?

my bad habit is back. at 3.38am, i'm still awake.
tutorial balloting starts today. i do hope i will get the tutorial slots i want. what's confirmed now, though, is my Thai tutorials. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 2 hours each. I hope i can persevere to the end and not withdraw halfway through the semester.
Today, or rather, yesterday, was my second day of school. i do have a tendency to blog after the day is over. lol. Attended 3 lectures in a day. PF1103, PF1104 and finally EC1301.
I swore after O Levels that I'll NEVER EVER IN MY SANE MOMENTS take Physics again. I swore after A Levels that I would only take economics OVER MY DEAD BODY. Words have a way of coming back to haunt you. it did, yesterday. apparently, PF1104 has physics in it. I got a B3 for physics. how am i going to be able to pass that module?! The school should have put a admission criteria for the course to be 'to have taken at least a H1 Physics'. THEN I WOULDNT GO FOR PFM AND WOULDNT END UP DOING PHYSICS!! And econs. it is a compulsory module for me. while they can excuse poly students from doing modules that they have done in poly before, why can't they do the same for the JC students? why can't the school state that those who have taken H2 economics can be exempted from the module?! it is freaking unfair and it is inefficient! why are they forcing us to take something we have taken before?! Sadists...
i thought my previous semester's lecturers were boring enough. was that an understatement. i met worse ones today. but i've got to say that the econs lecturer (he actually told us to call him Roland, not Prof Cheo...) was engaging and makes the lecture interesting enough although it was from 6pm to 8pm. he reminds me a little of Gilbert Lee in the sense that he makes econs interesting, just like Mr Lee did. at least i will have more motivation to learn? micro sucks!
sorry. all i do is gripe about life in school. one thing to look forward to is that for this week and the next, i only have school on mondays and tuesdays. MUAHAHAHA! and i love shocking people by telling them i am doing Thai this semester! although they, like Mr ANg Yu Qian, think i am crazy to have taken it. WHATEVER, i say.

Today’s the start of semester 2. I only had one lecture today. NM1101E – exposure module for Communications and New Media. The lecturers are so international lor. There’s one from UK, US, Korea and only 1 local. I was just telling my sister that I wish that when ang mohs talk, they come with subtitles so I can understand what they are driving at. And today just proved my point. I could only catch half of what was said. Sigh. But the surprising thing: my eye candy happen to be taking the same module! Haha!
This semester I’ll be taking: PF1103: IT for Projects PF1104: Environmental Science for Building EC1301: Principles of Economics NM1101E: Communications, New Media and Society LAT1201: Thai 1
I think I’ll be having lots of fun this semester! : D
If the timetabling goes well, I’ll be doing a 4 day work week. Monday 10am to 6pm, Tuesday 10am to 8pm, Wednesday 1pm to 6pm and Thursday 10am to 8pm with a 6 hour break from 12nn to 6pm.
I’m going to make my second lower honors CAP into a second upper honors CAP. Must score at least 4.1 this semester! Jia you! : D
While shopping for Xinling’s present after class, I came across this bag in Pull & Bear that has a lot of zips. So pretty! But it cost $74.90. I’m not sure if I’m willing to fork out so much for a bag. But it’s really nice. And I can’t find an image of it on the Internet!

I finally went back to TK today. With Gelina and Joan. After close to 4 years. The reason it took so long was mostly because of the bad memories I took away with me when I graduated from the school.
I remembered the ugly school uniform, the ugly school colours, the weird principal and the snobbish students. It’s no wonder why I never remembered any good memory of my secondary school. But after today’s trip back, I know I was being too harsh on my secondary school. There are good memories of TK. 3, in fact.
Mdm Faridah, Mrs Chee and Mr Tan. They made secondary school life much better. Of course, there’s Joan, Gelina, Xiuqi, Jia Yuan, Jing Huang, Yi Liang and Theresa. The friends I made in the 4 years I was there.
Maybe my next trip back would not be too long into the future. Maybe teachers’ day? Then again, on teachers’ day, Mr Tan and Mrs Chee will be very busy. Oh well, in another 4 years then! Haha.

i woke up feeling oppressed today/ yesterday... i just could not wait to get out of home. so i dragged my brother out with me. haha.
i'm going to ice skating tomorrow/ today. (: made him go to PS Daiso with me to get gloves. Hee. I'd rather buy my own gloves than buy from the ice-skating place. At least there's a choice. (:
after that we went to PP to eat at ichiban sushi. Don Don Set. :D gave my bro the unagi rice though. i couldn't finish it today. Weird. but i ate his miso soup. :D
after that we went to bugis. went to buy 萧敬腾之聆听意大利 at Kino and i wanted to buy 小鬼的《鬼怒穿》 but it was out of stock le. guess i procrastinated too long... then i went to buy 《半熟宣言》 by 杨丞琳. i'm still reading the former. the latter's not a bad buy. i like more than half of the songs in there. (:
it's been a long time since i last spend so much of a day with my bro. maybe cos today he didn't seem as irritating as some days. or maybe he is being nicer today. or maybe i was just avoiding my sis who was in a foul temper yesterday. she's ok today le. (:
i'm hooked on Patapon recently! Muahaha! i trashed my brother on my first attempt given that i have no sense of rhythm or beat! *evil grin*
