I went back to GM today!!! Haha. so nice to be back to the place where I first felt that I belonged. Esp in the last 2 years of pri sch. funny that I nv felt belonged in sec sch. one of the reasons I stayed in aj is cos I felt belonged too. Was sitting at the foyer for v long waiting for Lewis and Theresa. I was wearing the aj pe tee and skirt and the security thought I was not wearing sch u. wadeva. It’s ugly, that’s why it’s a uniform right?! LoLx. Saw mrs lim choon num. Nv change one la.. still as sharp as ever. Saw my Chinese calligraphy tcher but she dun recognize me anymore. Was spending a lot of time with mrs ng.. telling her abt H1 H2 thingy and how I only pass my H1 subj. stress. Promos in 5 weeks. I’m gng to MUG!!!! Bloody mugger. Lolx. Saw mr Amazing Fact:
I realize that GM’s staff have not changed much since the year I graduated. I recognized almost all the tchers and some date back (like fossils or history like that) to the time when my sis was in GM. I’ve been counting the amt of time I can get to study in the 2 month hols: Originally: 8 weeks PW/ OP: 2 weeks SL: 1 week OCIP: 3 weeks Remaining: 8-2-1-3=2!!!! So screwed. J2 will be a torture, if I even promote, that is. Pls let me promote. I’m gng to be a *bloody* mugger this hols!!! I swear! -aeRieL-
Person 1: Have known u since 1996. Yes, that’s P1. Sat in the same school bus for 6 years, was in the same class the 1st 2 years. After that, u went to better classes than me. And u know wad? My mom used to compare your results to mine. And as usual, I always score lower than u. it’s always v irritating when she does it ‘cos I canl never beat u lor. Well, that’s humans for u. always comparing. Saw u this year at NJ and I think we kind of got nth to say to each other anymore. Friendships do drift apart, I suppose. Person 2: Known u since 1999. Thru CCA. U are damn talented. Really admire u for that. While I am the one with no talents. Den in 2000, was in the same class as u. dun really know when I started liking (can I call it ‘like’?) u but I never really gotten over u until 2004. Kind of crazy, I know. After all, we were not even in the same sec sch. anyway, did u know that at that time, quite a few ppl like u too? I’m glad u treat me like a sister though. =] Person 3: Known u in 2001 when u joined our class in P6. Den we went to the same sch and the same class for 2 years. Again, my mom compared your results to mine. At 1st, it was ok cos I was a bit better than u. den came sec 2, your results in the EOY exams was much better than mine and my mom started on me again. The vicious cycle of comparing is wad I call it. Anyway, we are still the best of frens although we have gone to different schools. Well, u actually wanted me to go with u to that scary sch but I didn’t wan to cos I duwan to mug 24/7. I wouldn’t be able to take it. Anyway, I wouldn’t have gone to science stream. No interest in science subj. Haha. i'm glad our friendship stayed strong!!! Person 4: Yo. Known u this year. U know, if I were back in sec sch, I wouldn’t be mixing with ppl like u simply cos we move in different cycles. U are like the popular type while I am the ‘invisible’ type which no one notices. But when I came here, I decided to change. Well, it’s not much of a change la, more like bringing out my other self. Hence, we became frens. I’m glad, really. =] Thanks for being my fren. Person 5: Hey hey. Known u in 2000. U came from faith while I came from grace. Den in 2001, we got kicked out of EM1. Lolx. Den we went to the same sec sch and were in the same class for the last 2 years. I still rmb the note u gave me to encourage me but I cant for my life rmb where I put it. Haha. U know, u’ve always been the motivator. Always motivating others to keep up the good job, to tell them they can do it. U are a gem, u know. There are not many like u around anymore. Actually, I think u are the only I know. =] Miss u and hope we can go out 2gether again! Person 6: U are the person who has the most impact in my life. I have known of u in 2003 when the students made fun of your stomach during tchers’ day. But u only taught me in 2005. Saved us from doom. Like a savior. Haha. U know, in lib every Fri., we would be gossiping as we do work. Then one Friday, we were saying who we like, so I said I like u jokingly. Den as if on cue, u came into the lib.and for reasons unknown, I blushed. I was so mortified. Why did I blush? From then on, the lib members will tease me every time u come to the lib. Sigh. But u are a miracle worker, u know. U made my marks rise from F9 to A2. If that is not a miracle, wad is? Person 7: U are a person I haven’t thought of in years. Yes, at least 3 years. Did u know we were in the same class in 1996 and 1997? I totally forgot. I flipped thru the 1996 yearbook den I realize one. Haha. I’m so blur. Anyway, I rmb we were partners for prefect duty in 2000 to class 1 hope. Yup, our P1 class coincidentally. I rmb those brats. Serene who was anything but serene, Ryan the boy who like talking back, Janice the one who talks loudly, joshua was the one who shit in his pants and I think there’s a melody. They made me angry everyday. Take so long to line up, cant stop talking, keep complaining who stepped whose leg etc. they will be the death of me. Did u realize they are already in sec 1 this year, amazing how time flies. Person 8: Ha. Bro. The one who said I can sms him or talk to him anytime online one. I’ve already dedicated a para to him already. Besides, I’m tired of this le. Very tiring to type. I would rather write. Ok, next! Person 9: Ok, u. I like u. no doubt about that. But the qtn is y. y? I don’t know. Hope u are still using the Zippo although usually I will minus a lot of points for ppl who smoke. But I think u got a lot of points so minus already still v high. Lol. Anyway, I hope I have gotten over u le. I dun think I’ll see u ever again unless I go back to there to work. And it’ll not be possible anyway. I wan to get over u!!! Person 10: Hahas. U whack hard. Think u know who u are le. Had fun in 1st intake with u, periya and yilin. =] But certainly no fun dodging Person 11: Yo. Stickers stickers sticker stickers!!! Sticker book! Lol. Time is precious. Anyway, the interview for the OCIP trip was disastrous. Everything I said was WRONG!!! So sian. - I see your mother has allowed u to go. Did she say anything? - So, tell me more about yourself. (1st mistake, I’m actually more of an introvert…) - Why made u wan to join this OCIP? - How do u think u can contribute? - About the fieldtrip that u went in sec sch, what exactly was it about? - If u are stressed, how do u deal with it? (2nd mistake: I talked about studies stress) - What I mean is disagreement with other ppl. How would u deal with it? - Do u have any local CIP experience? (3rd mistake: I said I dun like local kids cos I feel that they are more pampered. The tcher laughed and said, ‘that’s v frank of u’. I could just bang the wall and go die.) - It does not have to be dealing with children, just any local CIP that u were involved in. (4th mistake: I cited a old folks’ home CIP. Thank god they never asked which year I did that. Cos I did that in 1999 or 2000. More than 6 years ago.) - Do u know the criteria to be promoted to J2? - Are u confident in passing your promos? - Do u know that we cannot bring u overseas if u fail your promos? Tell me, wad are the chances of me getting into the OCIP? AN ALL TIME LOW POSSIBILTY, THAT THE CHANCES. Argh. I’m so screwed. Hate interviews. Simply loathe them.
