My guy friend asked the funniest question today. He asked me why I never find a boyfriend.

Erm, firstly, boyfriend not say want to find then can find one leh. Must also like the person and the person must like you ma, if not, how to go into a relationship?

Secondly, the point of entering a relationship is to get married, eventually. And since I have no aspirations to be married, why should I find a boyfriend?

Thirdly, like I told him, I am not ready to commit in a relationship. Which is linked to the 2nd point, isn't it? So ya, there you have it. No reasons to find a boyfriend, right? :)

He said can get one for fun, let the guy be nice to me. Someone did that for me once... Maybe 2 years ago? Not as boyfriend status but it's the same thing, treat me to meals, be nice to me, spend time with me.... But I felt that it wasn't right cos I didn't like him enough to warrant such treatment. To be honest, he's a really caring person, but as always, we go back to point 3. Guess I hurt someone but I had to be honest.

I don't know if I'd do the same if time reversed but I guess there's no point in speculating since time will not go back.
